Monkey Face
In Smith Rock State Park, Monkey Face stands sentinel on the west side of the park. In prototypical hot summer weather, Monkey Face here stands tall over the Crooked River that winds its way through the park. E100VS.
Pastoral Adams
Mt Adams (12,276') is the lonesome one of the trio, languishing in obscurity in the shadows of its two more famous brethren, Mt St Helens and Mt Hood. Just outside Trout Lake, Mt Adams is a fantastic playground for alpinists. The dog route, the South Spur route, can be seen on the right skyline of the peak, as well as Piker's Peak (the false summit).
Seattle - Beacon Hill
One of my favorite views of the Emerald City and I-5 from Beacon Hill, one of the seven "original" hills within city limits.
Seaview Cafe, Hope, Alaska
The famous Seaview Cafe at the end of the Hope Highway south of Turnagain Arm in southern Alaska.
Shasta - Hwy 97
Mts Shasta (14,162') and Shastina (12,330') from the north on US-97.
Shasta - Trees
Apparitional Mt Shasta and its Wintun Ridge visible near the Clear Creek TH on the SE side of the peak, taken after a successful summit.
